ASTANA. January 15. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ It is correct that people of the town of Zhanaozen have a chance to participate in elections to the Majilis.
Special Representative to regional peace-mediation tasks of the Foreign Minister of Finland Kimmo Kiljunen has said it today.
"I am very pleased that despite tragic events occurred on December 16 the Zhanaozen residents received opportunity to take part in the elections. We think it is right that the elections were organized in this town," Kimmo Kiljunen noted at a press conference.
