It is planned to attract €68 million investments to help developing countries to partake in EXPO 2017 - V.Loscertales
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - To support developing countries in their participation in the international exhibition "EXPO-2017" it is planned to raise about 68 million euros, this has been reported today by Secretary General of the International Exhibitions Bureau Vicente Loscertales at a press conference in Astana.
"We want developing countries to actively participate in the Expo, as they represent more than half of the international community. More than half of previous Expos' participants were from developing countries," said V. Loscertales. According to his words, Astana organizes meetings with different regions of the world to jointly create conditions for developing countries' participation in the event. He also noted that for this purpose it is planned to attract investments in the amount of about 68 million euros.
