BAKU. August 15. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev is without doubt an absolute leader and strengthening of the integration processes between the Turkic-speaking countries is to a large extent his merit.
Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic-Speaking States Ramil Gassanov told Kazinform correspondent in Gabala. The city is gearing up to host the III Summit of Heads of Turkic-Speaking States on Friday.
"There was a lot of talking about the Turkic integration, but it was President of Kazakhstan who made the bold step and initiated the rapprochement of our nations," R. Gassanov noted.
"The Turkic Council currently operates thanks to Nursultan Nazarbayev," the TURKPA Secretary General added.
