Issue of Customs Union creation enters final straight - Oleg Soskovets
ALMATY. September 24. KAINFORM /Serik Koibagarov/ The main keynote of speeches of participants of "Customs Union - Integration Breakthrough of EurAsEC" Investment forum held in Almaty has become necessity of further integration.
"The issue of creation of the Customs Union, which will include Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, enters final straight", Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Eurasian Business Council non-commercial partnership, President of the Russian Association of Financial-Industrial Groups Oleg Soskovets said.
According to him, the forum is aimed at further strengthening interaction of business circles of the EurAsEC members-states and attraction of investments in innovative projects in new favorable conditions connected with formation of the EurAsEC Customs Union.
As EurAsEC Secretary General Tair Mansurov noted, the forum is aimed at further strengthening cooperation between the business circles, financial sector and public organizations of our countries in new economic conditions connected with the Customs Union functioning.
"We expect competitive growth of goods, firms and national economies, expansion of innovation potential from creation of a single customs territory. The Customs Union will be the first real step in formation of a high form of economic integration of our states", Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov said in his address.
