Islamic world has great expectations from Kazakhstan's OIC presidency: K.Saudabayev

ASTANA. February 10. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Today Kazakh State Secretary - Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev has hold talks with Senegalese Foreign Minister Madike Niang paying an official visit to Astana.

"Senegal chairs the Organization of the Islamic Conference this year. In this regard we had very constructive and meaningful talks in light of the upcoming presidency of Kazakhstan in this Organization", K.Saudabayev said after the meeting.

The sides discussed issues of trade and economic cooperation as well as interaction within international organizations. They also signed Cooperation Memo on consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the two states.

The Kazakh Foreign Minister thanked his colleague for high appraisal of the Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship noting that the Islamic world had great expectations from the upcoming Kazakhstan's presidency in the OIC.

"The memo signed today speaks for diplomatic relations both between Senegal and Kazakhstan and West Africa and Asia. This is another reason for us to emphasize special dynamism of our country's development. Kazakhstan may always recon on Senegal as a partner", M.Niang said.
