ASTANA. May 30. KAZINFORM Islam is one of the spiritual pillars of the people of Kazakhstan, President Nazarbayev Nursultan has said today at the IV Congress of World and Traditional Religions' Leaders in Astana.
"Kazakhstan is a country with an overwhelming majority of Muslim population. Islam is a growing layer of the cultural and material heritage of mankind," Nazarbayev stressed. He is confident that the future of modern global society is inconceivable without Islam.
