Irtysh River embankment to be reconstructed in Ust Kamenogorsk

UST KAMENOGORSK. KAZINFORM - Akim (governor) of East Kazakhstan region Danial Akhmetov has familiarized today with the projects of reconstruction of key cultural sites of Ust Kamenogorsk city.
It is planned to reconstruct the Irtysh River embankment and the Republic Square by the middle of August 2015. 2,5-km long race and bicycle tracks, 3 children's playgrounds, new benches and more will appear along the embankment. 2 fountains will be erected and old paving blocks will be replaced in the Republic Square. Governor Akhmetov believes that reconstructed cultural sites will refresh the city's image.
