Investment in fixed assets increased by 8.7% in Kazakhstan
ASTANA. December 13. KAZINFORM - During January-November of the current year the volume of investment in fixed assets increased by 8.7% compared to the same period last year, Chairman of Kazakhstan Agency for Statistics Alikhan Smailov told a briefing, Primeminister.kz reports.
"The volume of investment in fixed assets increased in real terms by 8.7 percent for 11 months of this year," Smailov said.
In addition, according to the agency, for 11 months of 2013 the volume of industrial production increased by 2.3% compared with 2012. In the mining industry production increased by 3.1%, in manufacturing - by 1.5%, electricity, gas, steam supply and air conditioning - by 1.1%.
The volume of agricultural production in the reporting period increased by 10.9%.
