Interregional Cooperation Forum between Kazakhstan and Russia to open in Astrakhan today
TRAKHAN. September 15. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ Today the VIII Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia with participation of the heads of state will start its work in Astrakhan. The forum's topic is "Joint reaction on emergencies of trans-boundary character."
It is planned that the prospects of joint reaction on emergencies of transboundary character will be discussed at the forum.
On the threshold of the forum, Kazakh and Russian presidents will hold a bilateral meeting, during which it is planned to consider the Joint Actions Plan of Kazakhstan and Russia for 2011-2012.
As the Kremlin press service reports, leaders of the two countries will continue exchange of opinions on integration, in particular, further steps on strengthening and development of the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, and discuss some regional and international problems.
Following results of the forum it is expected signing of a number of international documents of further cooperation.
