Interparliamentary Commission for Coop between Kazakh Majilis, Russian State Duma holds sitting in Astana

ASTANA. March 25. KAZINFORM. /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The 8th sitting of the Interparliamentary Commission for Cooperation between the Majilis of the Kazakhstan Parliament and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation has been opened in the Majilis today.
"This is a very important meeting where we should adopt several laws within the framework of the Joint Action Plan of Kazakhstan and Russia approved by the heads of our states for 2009-2010", Co-Chair of the Commission from the Kazakh side Bagilya Baimagambetova said.
The issues regarding the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic war as well as extension of trade-economic cooperation between the two countries are on the agenda.
