International reserves of Kazakhstan grow, reach nearly $94 bln

ALMATY. December 18. KAZINFORM International reserves of Kazakhstan, including foreign currency assets of the National Fund, have increased by 1.6% or $93.9 billion over the month of November 2013.

It was announced by Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Kelimbetov during the Wednesday press conference in Almaty.

In his words, the reserves increased by 9.1% since early 2013.

"Over November 2013, available stock of money has shrunk by 6.0% and amounted to $2 609.6 billion. Narrow money supply has also shrunk by 6.0% and totaled $2 580.6 billion," the head of the National Bank stressed.
