International conference on high-rise safety to be held in Astana
ASTANA. November 5. KAZINFORM Second international conference "HIGHRISE SAFETY - 2009" will be held in Astana on November 24-26, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Ministry for Emergency Situations.
The conference is devoted to the optimization of the legal framework on the issues of safety improving of high-rise buildings.
Issues of estimation of the safety level of constructed and put into service high-rise buildings, their seismic resistance, and specificity of rescue and emergency elimination in overcrowded buildings will be discussed at the conference.
Besides, review of emergencies in high-rise buildings for the past and last technologies, materials, equipment, security facilities and opportunities for their integration to the municipal infrastructure of Kazakhstan will be presented as well.
