Integration should be beneficial for all participating countries - President of Kazakhstan

ASTANA. May 29. KAZINFORM - Today in Akorda has started the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with the participation of the heads of the five countries: Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan.

Opening the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted that all the participants agreed to meet more often and to keep up the pace of adoption the instruments for the integration and creation of the Eurasian Economic Union.

"Today is our first meeting at the highest level within the framework of agreements. The main thing is our common desire of further integration", said the President. The Head of the State stressed that integration should be beneficial for all participants.

"States are going to integration in order to get something that they can not get being alone. The integration process should be evolutionary. It is necessary to work together, to seek common ground and to do it step by step", N. Nazarbayev concluded.
