Ingushetian president's heavily wounded driver dies in hospital

NAZRAN. June 27. KAZINFORM The Ingushetian president's driver Ramzan Yevkurov wounded in the attack on the president has died in hospital, Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.

On Friday the driver was operated on. Doctors said he was in very heavy condition.

Ramzan Yevkurov had thermal extremity burns, a cranial injury and an injury of the liver.

The attack against Ingushetian President Yunus-Bek Yevkurov was committed on June 22 at about 08:30 Moscow time on the Caucasus federal road in Nazran's Nasyr-Kortsky district.

Yunus-Bek Yevkurov was immediately rushed to the republic's central clinic where he was operated on. After consultations, doctors allowed to take him to Moscow. He is under treatment in the Vishnevsky surgery institute in Moscow. Uvais Yevkurov is in the same hospital. The driver could not be transported to Moscow because of his heavy condition.
