Information about Volgograd copter crash death toll differs

MOSCOW. July 22. KAZINFORM A Mi-8 helicopter owned by Gazpromavia air company crashed in the Volgograd region while making an inspection flight over an oil pipeline on Wednesday. The information about those killed in the crash differs; Kazinform cites Itar-Tass.

The press service of Gazpromavia confirmed the death of five people.

"We confirm that five people were killed in the crash, one crewmember and four passengers - specialists of LUKOIL-Volgogradneftegaz company," the air company's secretary, Darya Polukhin, told Itar-Tass.

LUKOIL's press service informed that there were five specialists of the company onboard.

Meanwhile, according to preliminary information of the investigative committee, there were three people onboard - a pilot, a flight engineer and one passenger; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
