What is your opinion on the 51st place of Kazakhstan in the global competitiveness ranking?

This means that the country's policy is correct, conditions and opportunities for entrepreneurs have been created. Now your competitiveness is at the world's average level. Of course, the path to the leaders of this rating is quite long, but I am sure that Kazakhstan is taking positive steps, moving forward to become a competitive country with competitive economy.

Do you think the industrialization policy of Kazakhstan is correct?

You know, the crisis we all had faced shattered some countries. We all know that in recent years there has been a myth that only the financial world will create profits, that it will define a new economy. Now, we see that industry, manufacturing, industrialization are essential, and those countries that have developed industries, such as Germany, are stronger during the same crisis. I think that the idea of industrialization and industrial development is very important for Kazakhstan because it strengthens the country, people and its economy. It will give you a strong position in the region and in the world.

How do you assess the business climate in Kazakhstan?

The country's business climate is improving as the rating shows. I think that a lot remains to be done, but the progress is obvious. I watch our Polish investors. They are very interested in working in Kazakhstan. They see the improving business climate there. This is the right path, but we must go further. Kazakhstan has done a lot, but a lot of work is still ahead.

Thank you for the interview!
