India hosts Days of Kazakhstan Culture

ASTANA. May 12. KAZINFORM Yesterday the capital city of India - New Delhi - hosted the opening ceremony of the Days of Kazakhstan Culture in India. The event was opened by Kazakh Minister of Culture Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed who congratulated the guests and participants on successful beginning of the Days of Kazakhstan Culture in India. "Kazakh people have always appreciated and loved the Indian culture, Indian music and movie stars. Therefore, today we will present you the works reflecting past and present of the Kazakh music", he said.

The program of the event includes an exposition of unique exhibits of the best Kazakhstan museums as well as performance of the leading orchestras and famous singers of the country.

An exhibition of the Kazakh State Museum of Gold and Precious Metals and an art exhibition of Kulanshi Contemporary Arts Centre was organized yesterday at Taj Palace Hotel.

The amateurs of classical music could enjoy a concert of Camerata Kazakhstan State Orchestra of Chamber Music at the Indian Habitat Centre Concert Hall.

A gala concert with the participation of the renowned Kazakh singers - Nurzhamal Ussenbayeva, Gaukhar Murzabekova, Gulzira Bukeikhan, Gulfairuz Kurmangozhayeva, laureates of the national and international contests - Yerkin Shukmanov, Dilbar Burkhanov, Akmaral Kainazarova, Medet Chotabayev, Kumis Bazarbayeva, Serzhan Kaukov, Madina Baspayeva, Tair Gatauov and Azamat Zheltyrguzov - will be held today.

Tomorrow, May 13, the Days of Kazakhstan Culture in India will end with a concert of Otyrar Sazy Kazakh State Academic Folk and Ethnographic Orchestra, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Ministry of Culture.
