ASTANA. December 14. KAZINFORM A celebratory reception dated to the Day of Independence with the participation of the Head of State is on at the new Opera and Ballet Theater in Astana.
In his speech Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev claimed the Strategy-2030 had been in many ways implemented ahead of time.
In particular, President Nazarbayev noted over 15 years Kazakhstan's GDP had increased 16fold and GDP per capital - 7fold.
Over the period of independence Kazakhstan has created professional army and formalized borders with all neighboring countries, according to N. Nazarbayev.
