In Kokpekty emergency response is underway

KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM - Actions are being taken to recover from flooding in Kokpekty settlement in Karaganda region, the press service of the regional Akim reports.
Emergency response and recovery involved 926 people, 146 pieces of equipment and 15 water pumps. "To date, the forces of the local executive bodies and MES pumped water from cellars and basements of the flooded houses. Water pumped out of 102 houses", the statement reads. Veterinary unit organized removal of fallen livestock. According to recent data 485 dead animals were found.
