In five years Kazakhstan to be large meat exporter - President
TROPAVLOVSK-ASTANA. September 8. KAZINFORM The process of development of our state, our independent financial and economic system has taught us to set ambitious tasks. One of such goals is a project on beef cattle development.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev has made it public within his working visit to North Kazakhstan region.
As the President's press service reports, he visited Peterfeld Agro Ltd. and met with the region's farmers.
At the meeting N.Nazarbayev noted that North Kazakhstan is a breadbasket of the nation. The North Kazakhstan oblast manufactures 12 percent of the national volume of the agricultural products.
"In five years Kazakhstan will be a large exporter of meat - 60 thousand tons per year will be sent to other countries," the President said.
