In Astana Xi Jinping to voice China's foreign policy in Central Asia
BEIJING. August 28. KAZINFORM - President Xi Jinping on his state visit to Kazakhstan will deliver a speech at Nazarbayev University and will announce the foreign policy of the new government of China in Central Asia. This has been said in Beijing during the press conference by the Deputy Foreign Minister Cheng Guoping.
According to Cheng Guoping, foreign tour of Central Asia will be the first after the entry of Xi Jinping in the post of chairman of the Chinese People's Republic and it will be of great historical significance for future development of the strategic partnership between the parties.
As previously reported by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the new head of China Xi Jinping from 3 to 13 September will make a state visit to Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
As expected, the President of China from 6 to 8 September will be visiting the Republic of Kazakhstan. As part of his visit to Kazakhstan there will be official talks with President Nursultan Nazarbayev, as well as meetings with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Chairman of the Senate. In addition, Xi Jinping will deliver an important speech at the Nazarbayev University and will announce the foreign policy of the new government of China in Central Asia.
As the Chinese diplomat noted during the foreign tour of Xi Jinping there will be a thorough exchange of common interest between the new head of China with Central Asian leaders on bilateral relations, regional and international issues. "It is expected that new initiatives will be put forward to promote cooperation between China and the countries of Central Asia", said Cheng guoping.
The Chinese leader will sign a number of important documents between China and the countries of Central Asia in energy, transport, telecommunications, investment and humanitarian spheres of collaboration.
