The conference allows the two countries to expand the borders of the information field and create the conditions for cross-cultural communications.

Media figures from Turkey arrived in Kazakhstan for participation in the conference.

Foreign and Kazakhstani experts discuss the themes of public consent, role of mass media and information in regional security and stability.

"I think there is no problem more serious than problems of interethnic and interreligious accord. I think that journalists working in this sphere should have not just a skill set but feel the culture of interethnic relations, traditions and respect to representatives of the other cultures," Deputy Chairperson of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Anatoly Bashmakov noted.
