In 2014 Astana will host the World Street Workout Championship
ASTANA. December 23. KAZINFORM - The next year Astana will host the World Street Workout Championship. This has been said by the vice-president of the Kazakhstan Federation for that kind of sport Badurgov Islam. Street Workout is a species of mass physical education classes, such as performing various exercises on the street sports grounds, namely, at horizontal bar, parallel bars, wall bars, horizontal ladders and other structures, or just on the ground.
The World Cup will be attended by about 30 countries, including the United States, Ukraine, Brazil, Canada, Thailand and Russia. Each country will be represented with two or three members. Kazakhstan will be defended by Ilez Badurgov from Astana, Rasul Jadar and Dmitry Podebida from Shymkent who have won prizes in the home championship, held on Sunday.
