Improvement of innovation effectiveness and strengthening scientific-innovation policy in country discussed in Astana

Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Bakytzhan Zhumagulov, Rector of Turan University Rakhman Alshanov and Chairman of the National Space Agency of Kazakhstan Talgat Musabayev made reports. They lightened such issues like innovative potential of the new system of science management, innovation effectiveness in economy and development of the system of satellite and terrestrial technologies.

The conference was organized by the National Engineering Academy under assistance of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, national Space Agency, National Company KazMunayGas JSC, Parasat National Scientific-Technological Holding, Kazakhstan Association of Universities, Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan.

The Kazakh Parliament deputies, heads of the ministries and departments, members of the National Engineering Academy, representatives of business circles and scientific communities of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Russia took part in the conference. They studied ways of strengthening the scientific-innovation policy in the country, including activation of the role of scientific circles and business structures.
