IMF delegation meets with Kazakhstan religious confessions reps

ASTANA. June 15. KAZINFORM. /Kanat Kulshmanov/ A delegation of the International Monetary Fund is staying on a visit in Astana on June 14-16. Today members of the delegation met with the representatives of Kazakhstan?s religious confessions.
The issues of interaction of cultures and religions were discussed. Activity of the religious confessions of Kazakhstan was presented to the foreign delegation.
According to Dominique Strauss-Kahn, IMF Managing Director, it is good to start the visit devoted to economic and financial issues with such a meeting, as the current economic crisis is based not only on technical problems, but the issues of ethics as well.
Mr. Strauss-Kahn also expressed admiration with the Palace of Peace and Accord in Astana.
