III national Kazakh language Olympiad held in Astana

ASTANA. January 10. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ III national distant Olympiad ?Language is a symbol of state?s independence? in Kazakh language between school students of other nationalities takes place in Astana, Kazinform reports.
?The Olympiad is aimed at discovering among students of non - Kazakht nationality those, who are talented in linguistics and interested in studying the Kazakh language?, Director of ?Daryn? national Scientific-Practical Center Tildash Bituova said.
?Today 33 school students from six regions of the country take part in the Olympiad. Winners will be awarded diplomas and prizes?, she added.
The event was organized by ?Daryn? Center of the Kazakh Ministry of Education and Science and Committee on Languages of the Kazakh Ministry of Culture and Information.
