III Astana Economic Forum kicks off
ASTANA. July 1. KAZINFORM /Yelizaveta Voronchuk/ IIII Astana Economic Forum has started today in Astana. This year it will be dedicated to the topic "Sustainable Economic Growth in post-Crisis Period". The event is organized by the Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists Association, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Institute of Economic Researches.
The annual economic forum will bring together above 2000 representatives of political and business circles from more than 50 countries of the world, as well as leading scientists, public and mass media representatives, in order to discuss key issues of global economic development.
The President of Kazakhstan will deliver a welcoming speech to the participants at the opening ceremony of the Forum.
During two days the high guests will make reports and take part in discussions on topical issues of social-economic security providing in post-crisis period. Business Forum of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs with participation of above 300 delegates from different countries will become a significant event of Astana Economic Forum. The main goal of the Forum is creation of Eurasian Business Congress directed on expansion of mutually beneficial trade-economic connections and investment cooperation on Eurasian space and interaction in development of promising and high-technology economic spheres.
A conference entitled "Conference of State-Private Partnership of Peace Centers" will be held today. Representatives of state-private partnership centers, central and local executive bodies, non-governmental organizations will gather for discussions. Following the discussions a Memorandum on Creation of Unified Source of State-Private Partnership will be signed.
An international conference on mechanisms of Islamic financing regulation amid post-crisis development will be held within the Forum. The primary goal of the event is formation of integral system of regulation of Islamic financing in Kazakhstan.
