Ice slick and snowstorms to grip Kazakhstan

Rain and snow are reported to grip Ulytau region.

Karaganda, Zhetysu, Kyzylorda, Aktobe, Kostanay, Mangistau, West Kazakhstan regions are to face snow and rain, snowstorms, high wind and ground blizzard today.

Fog is expected in Mangistau region at night.

Astana city is to brace for snow, ground blizzard, high wind and ice slick on the roads.

Snow, ground blizzard, high wind, snow and rain are also forecast for Atyrau, North Kazakhstan, Akmola, East Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, Abai, Turkistan, Zhambyl, Almaty regions.

On March 6, a storm alert was in effect across Kazakhstan.
