Ice-slick and high wind to batter Kazakhstan 

Unsteady weather sets the tone across the country bringing snow to the north and east, Kazhydromet said in a statement. 

The country’s west is expected to observe weather without precipitation.

High wind, fog, ground blizzard and ice-slick are forecast throughout Kazakhstan today.

High wind gusting 30m/s and more is predicted to roll through Akmola region.

As written before, storm alert was in effect in 16 regions of Kazakhstan on February 12.
