ICAPP can become good supplement to CICA - Majilis Speaker Mukhamedzhanov
ASTANA. September 25. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ The International Conference of Asia's Political Parties can become a significant supplement to the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), Chairman of the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament Ural Mukhamedzhanov has said at the V General Assembly of the ICAPP in Astana Friday.
"Being the representatives of authoritative party organizations we have huge undisclosed potential both for vertical and horizontal development. And our country can share experience with its Asian partners", U. Mukhamedzhanov said.
"For instance, the current forum can become a significant supplement to the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) initiated by Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev", he noted.
74 delegations from 40 countries of Asia, Oceania, Eurasia and Latin America, heads of diplomatic missions and international funds gathered for the General Assembly of the ICAPP in Astana.
