"We will train our aviation security inspectors, invite our colleagues from neighboring countries. The training program, training facilities and training of teachers will meet the requirements of ICAO," he said.

He noted that in the post-soviet space that would be the third training center after Kiev and Moscow.

The opening of the center will coincide with the international conference on aviation security with participation of ICAO Regional Director Luis Fonseca de Almeida, which is scheduled for early September in Astana.

As for the specialist training on the basis of the Civil Aviation Academy in Almaty, Seidakhmetov said that his Committee together with the Ministry of Education and Science developed an action plan for the transition of the institution to the international standards of education.

This, according to B.Seidakhmetov, provides professional development of teaching staff, reforming of the educational process, strengthening of the material-technical base of the Academy.

For example, to improve the quality of training of Kazakh aviation experts about 2 billion tenge is planned to be allocated by the national budget to purchase modern training aircrafts and new simulators in 2014.

"Over the last three years only 250 of 750 Academy graduates were able to find a job, which means low demand and low level of training of domestic pilots," the chairman noted.
