IAEA Director General to participate in “For a nuclear-free world” forum in Astana

TANA. October 5. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ A forum "For a nuclear-free world" is to be held in Astana next week. Vice Prime Minister-Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev has announced at KAZENERGY-2011 forum in Astana.
"Next week there will be held a nuclear-free froum dedicated to an important event, wahich was carried out 20 years ago, when our President closed the Semipalatinsk test site and renounced the world's fourth largest nuclear arsenal," A.Issekeshev said.
According to the Vice Premier, leading experts of this sphere, including IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano, will take part in the forum.
