ALMATY.June 4. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ II National Act of Patriots My Homeland is Kazakhstan! devoted to the Day of State Symbols has been held today in Almaty. The event was organized by the Almaty city Akimat, Kazinform reports.
Veteran of the Great Patriotic War Dmitry Malyshev and author of the State Flag of the country, famous artist Shaken Niyazbekov took part in the event. According to Deputy Akim of Almaty Serik Seidumanov the first attribute of Sovereign Kazakhstan ? the State Flag was approved 17 years ago. He congratulated all Almaty citizens on this remarkable day which has a special value for the country.
?Formation of solicitous attitude to the official state symbols is still the priority of Kazakhstan. The State Symbols are one of the secure foundations of our country and sovereignty,? ? S.Seidumanov emphasized.
