I'm 90% sure that referendum will be held - Yertysbayev

ASTANA. January 28. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ "I am 90 percent sure that a referendum will be held," Adviser to the President Yermukhamet Yertysbayev has made it public answering questions of journalists today.
"It is my opinion. Five million signatures were collected in support of the referendum", he noted.
As Y.Yertysbayev outlined, it is more than 2/3 of the Kazakh votes.
"You know that 15-20 percent of population does not go to polls worldwide. Such an amount did not participate in our presidential elections. 2/3 of votes really turn into 90 percent of those who support the referendum", the Adviser said.
According to him, it is quite possible that the Constitutional Council will suddenly make a diametrically opposite decision.
