Husband sets ex-wife on fire in Astana

ASTANA. June 12. KAZINFORM A 25-year-old woman died in hospital of thermal burns in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana police says.
According to the police, the woman was divorced and lived separate from her husband with their daughter. Her 26-year-old former husband often dropped by to see the girl.
On one of those visits he unexpectedly pulled out a canister with petrol, poured it over his ex-wife and set her on fire. The woman's relative tried to help her but in vain. The woman was immediately hospitalized from the spot and later passed away.
