Hungarian capital hosts ‘Unknown Kazakhstan’ photo exhibition
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakh Embassy in Hungary with the assistance of the Foundation of the First President - Leader of the Nation has held an official opening ceremony in Budapest, the first foreign photo exhibition called "Unknown Kazakhstan" which is dedicated to the Day of the First President of the republic and the Independence Day, Foreign Ministry informs.
The photo exhibition at the Budapest University of Economics "Corvinus" performed a selection of the best works of one of the most exciting projects supported by the Fund. With the support of the Foundation of the First President, as well as "Intel" and "Nikon" companies, a group of professional photographers had the opportunity to organize expeditions to remote places of the country, from the Tien Shan Mountains to the Caspian Sea, and make amazing photos of landscapes that reflect the natural diversity of Kazakhstan. The opening ceremony was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hungary Nurbakh Rustemov, Secretary of State for Cultural Diplomacy under the Ministry of Foreign Economy and Foreign Affairs of Hungary Istvan Iydyarto, deputy executive director of the Foundation of the First President of Kazakhstan Sergei Tokhtarov, Rector of "Corvinus" University Zsolt Roshtovani and co-author of the project "Unknown Kazakhstan", photographer Andrei Shishkalov, representatives of the diplomatic corps, Kazakh Diaspora, "Friends of Kazakhstan" club, as well as Kazakhstan and Hungarian students. The aim of the project is to increase the tourist attractiveness of Kazakhstan. The exhibition will run until 28 November.
