Hundreds of cars under snowdrifts in Aktobe rgn

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Aktobe region Emergency Department rescuers continue to work on clearing the snow drifts on the roads, the press service of the Emergency Ministry informs.
March 25 around 200 trucks stuck on Samara- Shymkent highway due to snowdrifts. North Kazakhstan region faced the same problem. According to the Ministry, one bus and passenger cars were trapped in the snow banks on Presnovka - Arhangelka highway. 16 people were evacuated. One bus with 20 passengers and 4 cars with 12 people stuck on Ukrainian - Karagash and Sokolovka - Sivkovo motorways. Emergency department officers towed captured in the snow vehicles with passengers to the cleaned part of the roads. There were no injuries reported.
