Hu Jintao invites Majilis Speaker Mukhamedzhanov to visit China
ASTANA. June 12. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ President of China Hu Jintao has visited the Majilis of the Kazakhstan Parliament and met with Speaker Ural Mukhamedzhanov today; the House's press service told Kazinform.
During the meeting Hu Jintao noted that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states cooperation was developed in various directions. According to him, presently the Chinese side highly appraises the level of bilateral relations.
On behalf of the Chinese parliamentarians Hu Jintao invited Kazakh colleagues to visit China. Majilis Speaker Ural Mukhamedzhanov thanked for the invitation and noted that the enhancement of strategic partnership with China was the priority direction of Kazakhstan's foreign policy. He also stressed that the current visit of the Chinese leader would be a powerful impetus for further strengthening of bilateral relations.
Deputy Chairmen of the Majilis Vladimir Bobrov and Zhanybek Karibzhanov and other officials attended the meeting.
