How much Kazakhstan’s Putintseva earned after reaching Adelaide International semifinals
World No. 25 Yulia Putintseva of Kazakhstan reached the Adelaide International semifinals in Australia, Kazinform News Agency cites Sports.kz.
During the tournament, Putintseva defeated Donna Vekic of Croatia (ranked 19th), Ons Jabeur of Tunisia (ranked 40th), Diana Shnaider of Russia (ranked 13th).
The Kazakhstani tennis player was beaten by world No. 7 Jessica Pegula with a score of 6:7 (4:7), 3:6.
Yulia Putintseva earned 59,100 US dollars and 195 rank points for her participation in the Adelaide International semifinals.
Recall that Kazakhstan’s Putintseva climbed up to the 23rd spot in the WTA rankings, earning the best result in her career.
The Adelaide International was the second tournament for the Kazakhstani athlete in 2025. Earlier she played at the Brisbane International tournament in Australia, where she was eliminated in 1/8 finals.
