House fire kills old lady in N Kazakhstan

ASTANA. September 29. KAZINFORM A fire broke out at a single-family house in the town of Sergeyevka in northern Kazakhstan, the Ministry for Emergency Situations says.
The fire was extinguished in 30 minutes by the North Kazakhstan regional emergency department's firefighters.
As a result of the fire, a 70-year-old woman's body was found at the scene. A 48-year-old man was hospitalized with carbon monoxide poisoning.
