Hot spell takes hold of Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Extreme heat has taken its hold of Kazakhstan today, according to the Kazakh Ministry of Emergencies.
Wind will strengthen up to 15-20 m per s in the Akmola, Kostanay, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl and North Kazakhstan regions. Thunderstorm is expected in the Mangystau and Atyrau regions. Heat wave will hit the Akmola, East Kazakhstan, Almaty, Zhambyl, South Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, Atyrau, Pavlodar, Aktobe, Kostanay, Mangystau, North Kazakhstan and Karaganda regions. Fire hazard remains extremely high in western, north-western, eastern, south-eastern and central Kazakhstan.
