VIENNA. August 5. KAZINFORM A plainclothes police officer in Vienna found a case stuffed with 150,000 euros ($216,000) that had fallen out of a cash couriers' van, and immediately returned the money, Austria's largest newspaper reported on Tuesday.

Kronen Zeitung said the incident took place about a month ago, but was kept secret until now.

The armored vehicle carrying over 30 million euros ($43 million) had been loaded incorrectly. One of the cases hit the door bolt, pushing it slightly open and causing the case to fall out onto the road.

The officer discovered the case, got into his car, and started pursuing the vehicle, which refused to stop in line with security rules for carrying cash to banks. He followed the couriers to the bank, and handed the case over,  Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
