Highly skilled young specialists are the future of Kazakhstan: Bolashak scholar
BEIJING. January 18. KAZINFORM Creation of the effective system that will support the brightest students through scholarships is a timely decision, Bolashak scholarship recipient and student of one of Shanghai universities Olzhas Suleimenov said, commenting on the State-of-the-Nation Address of President Nursultan Nazarbayev "Kazakhstan's way-2050: Common goal, common interests, common future".
"I am proud of the fact that I am one of the Bolashak scholarship holders. The Bolashak scholarship scheme gave me and many other Kazakhstanis an opportunity to obtain decent education at one of the internationally reputed universities. In his recent address the Head of State stressed the importance of establishing a qualitative national system of education. The future of the country is inextricably connected with the training of highly skilled young specialists," O. Suleimenov noted.
In his words, Kazakhstan is to diversify its economy, shape up smart and green economy. It also needs to transfer technologies and train specialists in order to use them during the EXPO-2017event in Astana.
"The provisions of the address should be fulfilled not only by the Government, but also by each citizen of the country. The document is an address to younger generation in the first place, the generation that will build new Kazakhstan in the 21st century," he thinks.
