Heroic teenager rescues 2 boys from house fire
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A 14-year-old teenager is being called a hero for saving two little boys from a raging house fire in eastern Kazakhstan, Kazinform has learnt from YK-news.kz.
The accident occurred in Chekoman village on December 26 when an elderly woman left her 5-year-old grandson Nurasyl and his three-year-old friend Sultan at home. The family's neighbor Sanzhar, 14, saw heavy smoke and fire raging in the house opposite to his. Quick-thinking Sanzhar called firefighters and rushed to the scene to save the boys. Thankfully, the door was not locked and the brave teen managed to pull his little neighbors to safety. Firefighters summoned to the scene quickly battled the blaze. The heroic teen is likely to be honored with a medal for the bravery exhibited during the accident.
