Heavy rains and sweltering temperatures to grip Kazakhstan

The western cyclone continues to dominate much of Kazakhstan, bringing unstable weather, heavy rains, thunderstorms, strong winds, squalls, and possible hail.

Heavy rains are forecast for Kostanay and Aktobe regions on June 11-13, Almaty and Zhetysu regions on June 11. Air temperatures are predicted to rise as high as 35-40 degrees Celsius in the south, and 30-37 degrees Celsius in the southeast.
