Healthcare Ministry to spend KZT 11.7 bln for medical equipment, supplies and transport

ASTANA. April 30. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ The Ministry of Healthcare plans to purchase medical equipment, supplies and transport to the sum of KZT 11.7 bln. Chairman of the Committee on Control over Medical and Pharmaceutical Activity Syzdyk Baimukhanov said it following a conference on state procurement in Astana today.
"The equipment will be purchased for oncologic and anti-tuberculosis organizations, maternal and child health facilities, obstetrics and blood centers, for the organizations of first medical care and sanitary aviation of the municipal and regional hospitals", S. Baimukhanov noted.
As the Chairman of the Committee added, the Ministry plans to buy out 711 units of equipment in total.
