Healthcare minister comments on possibility of introducing mandatory vaccination in Kazakhstan

Minister of healthcare Azhar Giniyat commented on the possibility of introduction of mandatory vaccination against dangerous infections in Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency reports.
This will depend on the epidemiological situation in the country. 800,000 children are unvaccinated. Under the current legislation, one can refuse vaccination for medical exemption, she said at a briefing after the Cabinet’s weekly meeting.
According to the minister, severe allergic reactions and immunodeficiency disorders can be among the reasons for medical exemptions.
