Healthcare at level of international standards is priority of Kazakhstan's policy - N. Nazarbayev

ASTANA. May 30. KAZINFORM The medicare and delivery of medical treatment at the level of international standards are a priority of the policy Kazakhstan conducts.

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said it in his welcome speech to the participants of the international courses of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies that was read on his behalf by Minister of Healthcare of Kazakhstan Salidat Kairbekova today in Astana.

'This Forum is held for the first time in Central Asian region and Kazakhstan pays great attention to this event that takes place in our country. The importance of extended international cooperation, interexchange of advanced technologies in the sphere of practical healthcare is becoming more important since opening of new scientific medical centers in Kazakhstan,' the statement reads.

The leading neurosurgeons from Russia, USA, Japan, Argentina, Germany, Great Britain, Israel, Sweden, Switzerland, India will read lecture and hold master classes within the framework of the forum.

Over 200 attendees from Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, China, Belarus, Turkey, Greece and many other countries are among the participants of the forum.
