Health Ministry: Kazakhstan annually kills 1 million women due to breast cancer

ASTANA. October 23. KAZINFORM – In Kazakhstan every year due to breast cancer die a thousand women, this has been announced today by Ajar Tulegaliyeva, director of the Department of medical assistance of Health Ministry.
"Mortality from cancer disease among women is relevant not only in the world but also in our country. Basically, we loose women because of breast, cervical and ovarian cancer. Nowadays about 4 million women annually get breast cancer. About 1 million women pass away every year due to the cancer", said Tulegaliyeva.
According to her words, in general, mortality from cancer diseases holds second place in Kazakhstan.
