Head of State was reported on construction of Expo center
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with chairman of "Astana Group" Nurlan Smagulov, the press service of Akorda informed.
During the meeting N.Smagulov informed the President about the beginning of the construction of cultural and entertainment center in the framework of "EXPO-2017".
President of Kazakhstan highlighted the importance of effective use of EXPO facilities after the event.
Head of Astana Group reported that the object is intended to attract a large flow of tourists in Kazakhstan.
Expo center, with the total area of 140 thousand square meters, will include the largest in Kazakhstan children's amusement park, a 14-screen multiplex cinema, themed restaurant galleries, and a multipurpose ice arena.
The construction of the facility is scheduled to be completed by September 2016.
